Pediatrics RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as an RN in the pediatric acute care setting at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health in Oklahoma City. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-week duration, starting April 13, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,530.80.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of pediatric patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Make referrals to appropriate personnel for patient care needs
• Delegate tasks to support staff

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; additional experience preferred
• Experience in pediatric acute care preferred
• Previous experience caring for pediatric diabetes and epilepsy patients in level one trauma facility preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current BLS from American Heart Association required
• PALS from American Heart Association required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills and ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients required
