Telemetry RN Job in Biddeford, ME

Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This is a night shift position running 3x12 hours with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Your assignment duration is 84 days, with a start date of September 14, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work as part of a float pool in our telemetry department, providing patient care across the unit as staffing needs require. This is a backfill role with no on-call requirements, and weekend hours are included in your weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting findings in our EPIC EMR system
• Provide direct patient care and nursing support in a Med/Surg telemetry setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in a teamwork-oriented environment
• Float to other areas of the unit as needed to support patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license (active and valid)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to read telemetry strips and document in EPIC
• Reliable work ethic and strong teamwork skills

Compensation

You will earn $2,575.44 per week for this assignment.
