Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Kaplan, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital in Kaplan, Louisiana. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8)
• Primarily outpatient setting with occasional inpatient flexibility
• Approximately 10 patient visits per day
• Weekly pay: $2,414

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide physical therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations across multiple conditions and settings. Your clinical experience should span general orthopedics, neurology, disability management, and generalized weakness. You will manage cases including total joint replacements, spinal conditions, stroke rehabilitation, and traumatic brain injury. Your skill set will encompass acute care, outpatient clinic work, and comprehensive rehabilitation protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Proven travel healthcare experience
• Current Louisiana state physical therapy license
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (distance verified by driver's license address)

Facility Information

Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital uses the Epic electronic health record system. You will receive a 3-hour orientation. Dress code requires maroon, wine, or burgundy scrubs.

Attendance Expectations

This position maintains a strict no call-in attendance policy. During facility emergencies, you may be assigned to the Emergency Team and are expected to remain on-site until the event concludes.
