PCU RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll join Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a contractor replacement position offering intermediate-level patient care in a step-down environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 shifts, days (6:45 AM–7:15 PM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: April 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Your Role:

You'll provide nursing care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical floors. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor patients with advanced cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient care and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Support patients requiring intermediate-level step-down services

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Current required certifications
• Experience in progressive care or telemetry preferred
