Operating Room RN Job in Weston, FL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, specializing in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgery. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x10-hour day shifts (6:45 AM to 5:15 PM) with on-call responsibilities.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Weekly pay: $2,556
• Assignment begins July 6, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years direct liver transplant and OR RN experience (non-negotiable)
• Strong background in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases
• Experience transplanting organs into new patients, not harvesting alone
• Proficiency with MISONIX/CUSA equipment
• Current BLS and AHA or American Red Cross ACLS (required at submittal)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Nicotine-free status with negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen

Role Expectations

• Scrub role in a 18-room operating suite with 55–60 patient daily census
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Participate in teaching responsibilities with students and new staff
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

Onboarding

• 40-hour orientation period
• Time-sensitive modules (6–15 hours average) required pre-start and annually
• EKG and pharmacy testing during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each)
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
