Respiratory Therapist Job in Kingman, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. You will work a 3x12 night schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week) with no on-call requirements, though some weekend shifts are part of the rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care based on physician orders and patient clinical condition
• Perform medical gas and humidity therapy, airway management including tracheostomy care, and blood gas analysis
• Manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation for adult patients
• Conduct pulmonary initial evaluations and assessments
• Provide routine services to non-critical patients and assist with critical care ventilation management
• Document all patient assessments and therapy in the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
• Educate patients with chronic lung conditions as appropriate

Equipment Proficiency: You will demonstrate competency with PB980 and LTV1200 ventilators, V60 and Vision BiPAPs, Metaneb, and Airvo devices.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification—CRT certification is not accepted
• Valid Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Competency in both adult and pediatric respiratory care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years of respiratory therapy experience
• PALS (AHA) and NRP certifications

Physical Requirements: You must be able to stand, bend, and reach 80–90% of the time. Frequent movement of patients via wheelchair or gurney, as well as pushing, pulling, and carrying equipment and supplies to patient areas, is required.

Assignment Details: 91-day contract starting September 21, 2026. Weekly pay: $1,945. You will work alongside a team of 3–4 additional respiratory therapists. A 50-mile radius restriction applies; only candidates traveling from outside the 50-mile radius are considered.
