CNA Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a travel assignment. You'll work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This is a 91-day assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You'll provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff in a Critical Care Unit setting. Your responsibilities include patient hygiene, vital signs monitoring, patient positioning, and charting in the Epic system. You may float to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River locations as needed; floating will be prescheduled when possible. You are required to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin CNA certification and AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of previous inpatient hospital experience
• Critical Care Unit experience required (1:12 patient-to-staff ratio)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• High school diploma (Associate Degree or Certificate preferred)
• Clean, work-appropriate scrubs of any color
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Schedule and Compensation

You'll work nights on a flexible schedule with the possibility of low census and on-call placement. Call back minimum is 2 hours. Weekly pay is $1,370.
