RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements; contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours taken in increments as needed
• Work with a Neuro patient population including Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients in an 8-bed Neuro unit
• Primary procedures include Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures such as line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
