Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float @ Piedmont Augusta Hospital

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU, 1:4-5 PCU, 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele
• Primary ICU float position with potential floating to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, and ICU units
• Handle all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU diagnoses
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every other weekend schedule (approximately 6 weekends in 13-week contract)
• No call requirements
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, CVA/stroke management, and critical care procedures
