Physical Therapist Job in Carlsbad, NM

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work day shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will also work one Saturday per month. This position offers no on-call responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
• Help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility and function
• Teach patients prevention and management strategies for their conditions
• Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs to support healthier lifestyles
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations

Requirements:

• 2+ years of physical therapy experience
• Both inpatient and outpatient experience required
• Current New Mexico state licensure (pending licensure approved if included with submission)
• BLS certification
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

Facility Details:

You will practice at Carlsbad Medical Center using the MedHost EMR system. Any color scrubs are permitted. This assignment begins April 13, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Weekly pay is $2,772. Auto offers apply—no interview process required.
