Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms including exercise and pharmacologic stress tests
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images
• Analyze ultrasound data and provide preliminary findings to physicians
• Measure cardiac structures and assess heart function using Doppler and imaging techniques
• Administer contrast agents and agitated saline when required
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques
• Serve both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Utilize Philips equipment for imaging
• Work within EPIC EMR system
