MRI Technologist Job in Farmington, CT

UConn John Dempsey Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 2, 2026. This is a third-shift position working Thursday through Sunday on a 4x8 schedule with 32 guaranteed hours per week at $3,371 weekly.

Position Details

• Third shift, Thursday–Sunday, 4x8 schedule
• 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Adult patient population including emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• 1:1 personnel-to-patient ratio
• Holidays and on-call shifts required as needed
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of the staff rotation pool
• No float required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(MRI) advanced certification
• Active Connecticut state license prior to start date
• BLS certification
• EPIC experience
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac MRI experience
• Functional MRI experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience
