Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Day shift position with as needed on-call and weekend requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6/7 utilizing team nursing model (goal ratio 1:5)
• 48-bed unit with daily census of 42 patients
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac medical surgical conditions
• Verify rhythm strips, manage drips at set rates, and titrate heparin per protocol
• Treat patients with CHF, AMI, post cath lab, PPM placements, and ablations
• Minimum 2 years recent experience required (strict requirement)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 5+ years specialty experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, starting and maintaining IVs
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Must be willing to work holidays as required
• May float between like units or campuses within 20-mile radius
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
