About this role
You will work as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit at Temple University - Jeanes Campus. In this role, you assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under licensed physician direction, applying current nursing principles, theories, and evidence-based techniques to support patient recovery and safety.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Collaborating with patients, family members, clinical peers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members using the nursing process
- Directing and supervising nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established nursing practice standards
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment and protocols
- Adhering to all administrative and departmental policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Documenting patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Schedule and Duration: This is a 90-day contract position working 3x12 shifts on nights. You will earn $2,198.16 per week.
Qualifications: You must hold a valid PA Registered Nurse License and a Multi-State Compact RN License. Current Basic Life Support certification is required. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. One year of clinical experience in the telemetry or medical-surgical specialty area is preferred. Additional professional education, training, or certifications may be required based on the specific needs of the unit.
