PCU RN Job in Fairmont, WV

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday requirement: Rotate evening or day shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:3 and Floor 1:5-6
• 20-bed unit combining Stepdown/Med Surg
• Stepdown experience required
• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Common patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• EPIC charting system
• Telemetry unit with monitoring at Ruby
• RT equipment available including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Nurse aids available: 2 per shift
• BSN not required
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license with application
