PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work within the Operating Room handling all types of elective and emergency surgical cases including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
• Utilize after-hour call services to staff the Operating Room during nights, holidays, and weekends
• Multi-task efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required (BSN, Associate degree in nursing, or Diploma in nursing)
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred
