CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Vero Beach, FL

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse with cardiac operating room experience to join the surgical team in Vero Beach, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift options: 3x12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week, or 5x8-hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,414
• Cardiac call required 2–3 days per week, approximately 6 minimum per month; weekend call shifts are 24-hour assignments
• Float within scope to support facility staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years direct CVOR experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be valid at time of application)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Ability to start cardiac call immediately
• Nicotine-free status; negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine screening required
• EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each)

Clinical Skills

You will perform a full range of CVOR procedures including coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacements, TAVR, MAZE procedures, and septal defect repairs. When CVOR cases are unavailable, you may assist with other surgical cases as needed.

• Time-sensitive orientation modules (averaging 6–15 hours) must be prioritized and completed before your start date
