Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work on 3 South floor in South Tower of medical surgical/telemetry unit
• 36-bed unit with 32 staff members
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Techs, 1 Secretary
• Night shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Techs
• Work with equipment including EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, Telemetry
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Must have Med Surg Tele experience and Meditech experience
• Preferred skills: Time management and critical thinking abilities
• Typical procedures include heart catheterizations
• Float to all Med Surg Tele floors as needed
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs required
• Must maintain positive attitude and be friendly and helpful
