<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour day shifts with 32 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to surgical team<br>• Must possess expertise in sterile and aseptic technique with working knowledge of AORN standards<br>• Monitor sterile field for contamination and initiate corrective action under supervision<br>• Work towards competency with Tier 1 surgical cases<br>• Participate in Time Out Process including briefings and debriefings<br>• Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation<br>• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization<br>• Must be licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado<br>• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association required<br>• Completion of Certified Surgical Technologist program required<br>• Must obtain computer skills within 90 days for online learning requirements<br>• Physical demands include 50% standing, 20% walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally<br>• Must be able to work with all age populations from neonatal to geriatric patients</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This surgical center specializes in outpatient surgical procedures and maintains high standards for patient safety and quality care.
