Endoscopy RN Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking an RN for its Endoscopy department. You will provide specialized nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced procedural setting.

Position Overview

This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week on a 9x8 day schedule. You will also participate in an on-call rotation of 6–8 days per month with a 1-hour response time requirement. On-call duties include two full weekends and one weekday per week, with at least one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday included in your rotation. You will have no regular weekends or holidays except when scheduled for on-call.

Shift Details

Shift start times vary by role:

• Pre-op Endo: 6:30 AM
• Circulator/Tech Endo: 7:00 AM
• Post-op Endo: 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, care planning, and clinical interventions
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education for post-discharge self-care
• Anticipate occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Requirements

• Current NYS RN licensure
• One year of endoscopy environment experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
