Job Details:

• 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours scheduled biweekly and a 72-hour guarantee
• Block scheduling type
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred; will consider 2 years of experience if candidate has worked in a high volume or trauma facility
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Department census of 190 with 62 rooms
• Key clinical skills include arterial line management, central line care, ventilated patient care, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, procedural sedation, blood product administration, 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, splint application, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, and phlebotomy
