RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other med/surg units as needed
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• BLS certification required
• 24 hours of orientation
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Free parking available
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including renal conditions and COVID
• Skills include CVA care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, peripheral line care, IV management, and use of rapid response teams
• 60-mile local radius with no locals accepted
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November
