Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Dillon, SC

You'll work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon, a rural facility in Dillon, South Carolina. This is a 90-day travel assignment running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with day shifts only. No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities are required.

Your role centers on outpatient care with primary focus on orthopedic cases and a wide range of diagnoses. Depending on facility needs, you may also provide inpatient support, though the position is predominantly outpatient-based.

Your clinical responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient needs through detailed history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Planning and delivering individualized patient care tailored to holistic and age-specific requirements
• Utilizing appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
• Applying standard work protocols for central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcers, restraints, and fall risk management
• Conducting hourly rounds using service excellence standards
• Contributing to department efficiency and assuming charge responsibilities when assigned
• Precepting novice employees and supporting department growth through evidence-based practice initiatives

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
• AHA BLS certification
