Cath Lab Technologist Job in Aventura, FL

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist in a 5-room cardiac catheterization laboratory at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 4x10 schedule, working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, earning $2,628 per week.

Your Role

You'll maintain 1:1 patient ratios while supporting a range of cardiac procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating specialized catheterization lab equipment and managing supplies
• Assisting with catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures
• Documenting patient information and procedure details using Meditech and MacLab systems
• Collaborating with unit secretaries and other technologists to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

You must hold current CVL Tech, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Catheterization experience is required. On-call participation is included as part of this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional certifications that strengthen your candidacy include CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist), RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist), and RT (Radiologic Technologist). EP experience is preferred.
