ED RN Job in Viroqua, WI

Vernon Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care in a critical access hospital setting serving a rural community.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 0.9 FTE with 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period
• Schedule includes 2 out of 3 weekends on rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Holiday rotation required
• 84-day travel assignment
• Start date: June 29, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,233.80

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency department nursing care to acute patients
• Manage emergency medical situations and acute care needs
• Adapt to a smaller, rural emergency department environment
• Support critical access hospital operations and patient outcomes

Candidate Profile

You are an RN ready to work nights in a rural emergency setting. You have experience managing acute patient care and are comfortable in a smaller ED environment where you'll work closely with an interdisciplinary team. Your flexibility with scheduling and willingness to rotate holidays are essential.
