NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Maintain standards of practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and Nursing's Social Policy Statement
• Participate in performance improvement and research activities
• Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise
• Demonstrate leadership skills and core and unit-specific competencies based on the patient population served
• Level III or higher NICU experience required with a minimum of 2 years
• Acute care setting
• Charting system: EPIC
• New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N. required
• BSN degree preferred but not required
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral required
• Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Certification in specialty preferred
• No call-off policy with 14 days written cancellation notice required
