Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night rotation shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) including day before, day of, and day after, plus as needed
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 in CVICU, 1:3 in stepdown units
• Primary assignment between CICU and CVICU with first to float to other ICUs including stepdown/progressive care/IMC/tele units
• 2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience required
• Must have recent experience/competency with VV/VA ECMO, IABP, TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, and PA Catheter Guided Therapy
• Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips required
• Manage and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Care for post-op CABG, heart and lung transplant, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure management, cardiac arrhythmia, lysis, post IR/PCI procedures, and TEVAR patients
• Required certifications: VA RN License/Compact License, BLS, ACLS
• Use Epic EMR system
• Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, navy blue or white jackets
• 2-shift floor orientation provided
• No on-call requirements
