Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays included
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• May take IMCU patients if needed based on census
• Float to like acuities or less as needed
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics
• Work on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit alongside RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries
• Must be proficient with Insulin, Heparin, and Lasix drips
• Experience with Heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, titration of insulin drips, and Lasix drip experience required
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (can be completed prior to start)
• Active license and all required certifications must be in hand at time of submission
