Job Details:

• Full-time position working 3 days per week
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement included in schedule
• Implement professional nursing practice centered on whole-person patient care and creating a healing and wellness environment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice, considering patient culture, age, and developmental level
• Identify patient risk factors, collect objective and subjective data, and develop prioritized problem lists
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the inter-professional team
• Perform and document ongoing assessments and responses to procedures and therapies using the nursing process
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including execution of discharge orders and coordination with Case Management
• Provide patient and family-centered education addressing identified needs based on level of comprehension
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
• Delegate tasks and oversee team members in the performance of patient care activities
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring
• Promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through evidence-based practice and a holistic perspective on patient care
