SLP Job in Twin Falls, ID

St Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026. This is a full-time position working 4x10-hour shifts per day, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with schedule flexibility for vacation and holiday coverage.

Role Overview

You will treat 8 to 10 patients daily as part of a team of 3 SLPs. Your work will span the ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit, with time divided equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab settings. You may float to a sister facility approximately 30 minutes away as needed. Common patient diagnoses include stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis. You must be competent in video fluoroscopic swallow study (VFSS).

Schedule and Orientation

Travelers typically cover Friday through Monday, though the schedule may adjust for operational needs. Weekend and holiday coverage is required. Plan for 2 to 3 days of department-specific orientation, with initial onboarding shifts scheduled Monday through Friday as 5x8-hour days.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in acute care
• Rehab unit experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
• BLS and CCC-SLP certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,581. Scrubs are permitted; colors must not match other departments. An approved color list will be provided upon hire.
