Job Details:

• Perform CT and radiology procedures following prescribed techniques including adjusting equipment, determining proper voltage, current, and desired time
• Arrange immobilization and support devices, adjust lead shielding, and select proper film for procedures
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Clean x-ray room and equipment daily
• Perform call assignments as needed
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain quality control reports specific to procedures performed
• Perform general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, filing, and scheduling of incoming patients as necessary
• Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment
• Move equipment into specified positions and prepare rooms, contrast materials, and other materials needed for procedures
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Computerized Tomography with CT certification required
• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA approved training program required
• ARRT registration required
• MRI certification preferred but not required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
