CT Technologist Job in Alamosa, CO

San Luis Valley Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a rotating shift role in Alamosa, Colorado. This 91-day travel assignment runs from July 14, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $3,358.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiology imaging procedures following prescribed techniques and protocols
• Adjust equipment settings including voltage, current, and exposure time for each procedure
• Arrange immobilization and support devices and adjust lead shielding as needed
• Select proper film and prepare contrast materials and other necessary materials for procedures
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain quality control reports specific to procedures performed
• Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment
• Move equipment into specified positions and prepare rooms for procedures
• Clean x-ray room and equipment daily
• Perform call assignments as needed
• Handle general office duties including scheduling, answering phones, filing, and coordinating incoming patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Computerized Tomography with CT certification
• ARRT registration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved training program

Preferred Qualifications

• MRI certification (not required)
