Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Shift may start anytime between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM - must be flexible with start times
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 50 patients
• Patient ratio of 5 during day shifts
• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans
• Must have experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS (must be AHA or ARC certified)
• Valid California state license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Skills include: Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Vision RT, and more
• Work independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures
• Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients and families
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations and safety protocols
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and orienting other staff
