Pharmacist - Pharmacist

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call requirement
• One week of orientation to clinic and unit
• Work in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
• Use Epic to verify orders for oncology medications and enter and review therapy and treatment plans
• Answer provider and patient questions on chemotherapy regimens
• Check work of technician compounding sterile hazardous and non-hazardous infusions
• Log compounding via dispense prep and cameras and dispense from dedicated satellite pharmacy and Pyxis
• Work as the lone pharmacist in the oncology clinic with one dedicated oncology pharmacy technician
• Must be able to work independently with minor disease-specific clinical support on site
• Oncology experience greater than 1 year in a dedicated oncology role required (outpatient clinic or inpatient specialist)
• Colorado Pharmacist license required
• BCOP certification preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Scrubs required - black scrubs acceptable, but facility-provided scrubs must be worn when entering the cleanroom
• Charting system: Epic
