X-Ray Technician

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts required
• Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Limited to 1 day off request between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27
• Minimum 15 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting required for standard applicants
• First-time travelers welcome but must have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current X-Ray experience
• ARRT certification required
• Active BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Iowa radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed candidates must apply for license upon acceptance
• Skills checklist specific to X-Ray discipline required
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Equipment experience with Phillips highly preferred
• Equipment experience with Carestream portables preferred
• GE OEC c-arm equipment experience required
• Siemens Cysto equipment experience highly preferred
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Current or recent Operating Room competency or experience preferred
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
