Ultrasound Technologist Job in Odessa, TX

You will work as an Ultrasound Technologist at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX, performing a wide variety of ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Schedule & Compensation

• Four 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday
• $2,304 weekly pay
• 91-day assignment
• Start date: May 19, 2026

Your Responsibilities

You will perform ultrasound scans across multiple body systems and clinical areas, including first, second, and third trimester obstetric scans, abdominal aorta, appendix, bladder, fetal anatomical surveys, gallbladder, liver, renal and bladder studies, thyroid, DVT assessments of arms and legs, and head NICU scans. You will work with portable ultrasound equipment and support emergency department, ICU, NICU, obstetrics, and pediatrics patients.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in the profession
• ARDMS certification
• BLS certification
• Current flu vaccine (medical and religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Proficiency with PACS, Philips, and Siemens equipment
• Cerner charting experience preferred
