Job Details:

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call and no weekend requirements
• Perform fetal echocardiography exclusively (not fetal ultrasound)
• Obtain, review, and compile pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results
• Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures
• Utilize 2D optimization and 3D manipulation techniques with ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic information
• Operate Samsung Hera W10 fetal cardiac systems
• Provide interpreting physicians with oral summaries of diagnostic findings and preliminary written reports
• Differentiate artifacts from normal or pathological processes and recognize limitations of examinations
• Assist with teaching Fellows, visitors, and new departmental staff
• Collaborate with fetal radiologists, MFM physicians, and surgical teams to provide diagnostic imaging and guidance during fetal surgical procedures
• May participate in clinical research related to prenatal cardiovascular disease, including measuring and analyzing echocardiographic data
• Assist with procedures in both clinical and operating room settings as needed
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, and pediatrics
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS RDCS-FE, ARDMS RDCS-PE
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography preferred
• Associate's degree in a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Travel experience required
• Ohio single state or multi-state license required
• In-depth training will be provided
