<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CT Technologist - CT Technologist II</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)<br>• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients<br>• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures<br>• Utilize highly specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures<br>• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and technical quality standards<br>• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical findings<br>• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting and user maintenance of equipment<br>• Provide instruction and mentor less experienced team members<br>• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities<br>• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program<br>• CT credentials required upon hire<br>• AHA BLS certification required<br>• One year full-time experience as certified cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional preferred<br>• Associate's degree or higher preferred<br>• Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision<br>• Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services including advanced cardiovascular and radiologic technology services.
