Electrophysiology Technician Job in Peoria, IL

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma facility in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to join our EP Lab team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week in a fast-paced acute care setting. The department operates Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday on-call availability from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You will support four Electrophysiologists across two fully equipped procedure rooms, managing a volume of 5 to 10 procedures per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures and arteriograms under sterile technique
• Prepare examination areas and position patients appropriately for procedures
• Operate complex radiology equipment according to established protocols
• Pass materials and take exposures as directed by physicians
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and demonstrate strong clinical knowledge
• Document procedures in the EPIC charting system

Team Environment

You will work within a dedicated unit of 11 employees, collaborating closely with a team of five technicians and six registered nurses. This collaborative setting ensures strong peer support and consistent clinical oversight.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current BLS Certification
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that your application process has been initiated

Compensation

Weekly pay is $4,032 for the 91-day assignment.
