About this role

You will provide speech-language pathology services in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Big Spring. This is a 91-day assignment working Monday through Friday, 8-hour days (5x8 schedule), with no weekend or on-call responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting all findings in the electronic system
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient response
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for all services provided
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences
  • Obtain necessary DME or supplies as needed
  • Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists

Requirements:

  • Current Missouri State License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Minimum 1 year of SLP experience (new graduates with Level II clinical experience considered)
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
  • Adherence to ASHA and State required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards

Assignment begins June 15, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,534.40.
