CT Technologist Job in Muncie, IN

You will work as a CT Technologist at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 3x12 night shift schedule with block scheduling. You will earn $2,410.56 per week.

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging in a Level III Trauma Center environment, handling approximately 160 CT scans daily across a census of 180. You will serve patients of all ages—from neonates and infants through geriatrics—and work with a wide variety of acute and emergency cases originating from the Emergency Department.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 1 year of CT technography experience
• Inpatient and ER settings
• Community hospital experience (required)
• Adult ICU cases
• PACS proficiency
• Contrast administration
• Anatomy knowledge: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal
• Advanced protocols: brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
• ARRT CT certification and BLS (required)

Preferred Experience

• Outpatient imaging
• Level I Trauma center experience
• Teaching hospital or children's hospital background
• IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system

Equipment and Facility Details

The unit operates GE CT equipment. You will use the Cerner charting system. Floating within IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital or to an affiliate facility is 100% required as part of this role. The position includes 40 hours of paid orientation.
