Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Lansing, MI

Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient pharmacy services. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule running Wednesday through Tuesday on the midnight shift.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x10 nights with weekend coverage required
• Schedule: 7 nights on/7 nights off rotation including 7 weekend shifts per contract
• Weekly pay: $1,985
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Facility type: Community hospital

Responsibilities:

You will serve patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Your work will involve medication dispensing, clinical consultation, and pharmaceutical care coordination within an inpatient acute care setting.

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD and active RPh licensure
• 1 year of inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience (first-time travelers will be considered)
• Community hospital experience
• Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification
• IV Certification

Required Skills:

• Antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, and cardiac dosing
• Chemotherapy and compounding
• Clinical dosing and geriatric dosing
• High-alert medications and inpatient/acute care pharmacy
• IV piggyback and pediatric dosing
• Pharmacokinetic dosing and renal dosing
• Sterile technique and therapeutic medication monitoring
• Warfarin dosing and carousel system operation
• Pyxis system proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC experience
