ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes 3x12 night shifts per week
• Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need
• Float to other units as needed when requested
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 23-room, 39-bed emergency department with daily census of 145 patients and 150 visits per day
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Must have at least 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system
• Work with Omnicell medication system
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Will review first-time travelers based on experience
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
