Certified Surgical Technologist in Salt Lake City, UT

Join St. Marks Hospital UT as a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in our OR department (Cost Center 701). You'll work 5 days per week, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing direct surgical support across multiple specialties.

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams with instrument and equipment handling
• Demonstrate proficiency with OR equipment and EPIC electronic health records
• Support general, gynecological, robotic, urological, trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
• Respond to 3–4 on-call shifts per month as scheduled
• Cover 3–4 weekend call shifts per month
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during assigned procedures
• Float within designated surgical areas as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with general, GYN, robot, urology, trauma, neuro, and ortho procedures
• Strong communication and adaptability skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vascular and cardiac procedures
