OR Registered Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

Join Renown Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a high-acuity trauma surgical environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• On-call availability required
• Weekly pay: $2,628

Role Overview

You will provide perioperative nursing care in a Level II Trauma OR with 18 operating rooms. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment that operates at the volume and intensity of a Level I trauma center.

Clinical Experience

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics across multiple surgical specialties, including:

• Trauma and orthopedic procedures
• Neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, cranial procedures)
• Cardiac and vascular surgery
• Da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted procedures
• General surgery, urology, pediatric, plastic, and ENT procedures

Qualifications

• Nevada State RN license required prior to start date
• 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel certification or equivalent) completed within 1 year of start date required for OR roles
