Job Details:

• Work 3-4 weekend shifts per month
• Strong neurology experience preferred
• Implement professional nursing practice centered on patient-focused care and healing environments
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care including nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Deliver patient and family-centered education
• Document all nursing activities according to hospital policies and procedures
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition appropriately
• Delegate tasks and oversee team members in patient care activities
• Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
• Maintain nursing excellence through evidence-based practice and current research
• Work with clinical autonomy within established scope of practice
