Cath Lab Technologist Job in Albany, NY

As a Cath Lab Technologist at Albany Medical Center, you will perform diagnostic examinations under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures. You will collect and record subjective data to establish correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis for each patient.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x10 Days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 15, 2025
• Weekly pay: $2,774

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Gather and document patient data to support accurate diagnosis
• Call commitment includes 1 week night shift and 1 weekend per month

Requirements:

• Minimum Associate Degree or graduate of approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program
• Certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• At least 2 years experience in cardiovascular specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Current Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
