Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a travel position in the Telemetry unit at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a full-time role with a 91-day assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,312.64

Role Details

You will provide direct patient care to cardiac and telemetry patients using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Your responsibilities include administering medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, documenting patient history and care provided, and assessing and addressing patient and family education needs. You will work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1–6:1 depending on staffing levels.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Louisiana or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic system experience required
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Willingness to complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days

You will be precepted by a designated trained staff member with competency validation to ensure a smooth transition. Temp-to-perm conversion is a possibility for this assignment.
