Physical Therapist Job in Redwood City, CA

Sequoia Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care setting in Redwood City, California. This is a 91-day travel position starting June 8, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Shift times vary: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,628
• Schedules created approximately one month in advance

Your Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to inpatient acute care populations including medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, oncology, and cardiac surgery patients
• Work with orthopedic and total joint patients
• Treat ventilated patients in the ICU setting
• Work independently and manage patient care efficiently
• Use the Cerner electronic medical record system
• All staff are required to work holidays

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current state physical therapy license
• At least 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
• ICU experience required for ventilated patient care
• BLS certification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment

• Dress code: burgundy polo with dark-colored business pants (lab coats optional)
• Weekend schedule requirements may vary; a weekday off is provided when working weekends
