Pharmacy Technician Job in Ithaca, NY

You'll work as a Pharmacy Technician in the inpatient pharmacy at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, New York. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning September 27, 2026, offering hands-on experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Role Responsibilities

• Support inpatient pharmacy operations serving the hospital's patient population
• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with sterile compounding of hazardous medications (preferred but not required)
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory
• Follow pharmacy safety protocols and regulatory standards

Schedule and Shifts

Multiple shift times are available to fit your preference:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Evening shifts rotate among staff. Shifts include weekends and holidays as needed for hospital operations.

Compensation

You'll earn $1,521 per week during your assignment.
